Hey there,
Welcome back to this week’s edition of the North Star Newsletter!
Before we dive in, I’ve got exciting news to share…
🚀 GetACorporateJob.com is expanding! I’ve officially launched a blog section on the site, making it your go-to hub for everything corporate career-related. All key newsletters and email insights will now live there — so if you ever need a refresher or a resource, it’s all just one click away.
And now… let’s get into this week’s issue👇
|
🏢 Corporate Hack of the Week: Subject Line = Mini Pitch
Most people use generic subject lines like “Follow-up” or “Project Update.”
Not you.
Start treating your subject line as a mini pitch. Make it specific, actionable, and eye-catching.
Try this:
These get opened fast, get responses quicker, and reduce your turnaround time.
Start using it this week and thank me later 😉 |
👂 Listen to Your Gut Feeling
This is one of the most underrated pieces of advice I could give — and it’ll save your mental health.
If you’re considering a new role, always trust your gut.
So many professionals ignore early red flags because:
But within a few months, they regret it.
It’s rarely the job that’s toxic — it’s the people and the management.
If something feels off in the interview process… it probably is. Listen to your intuition.
That little gut check? It can save you from months (or years) of unnecessary burnout. |
🌟 Quote of the Week
This week’s quote is for those who make their job their self-worth. It’s a compelling one.
“Your pace is not proof of your worth. You don’t have to burn out to be respected. In fact, the most sustainable careers are built by people who learn when to rest and when to run.”— Alexandra Elle
Save this quote for the weeks when you're tempted to overwork to feel valuable. Your burnout doesn’t define your worth. |
🥳 Free Resource of the Week: Proven LinkedIn DM Scripts
As you already know… I launched a course on “How To Get A Corporate Job” a few days back.
In addition to that, I'm giving away the exact DM template my students use to get noticed — and get hired.
