Hellooo!
This post is for the people who made me who I am—my beloved teachers.
If you’re a teacher, or you know someone who is and wants to transition into corporate—keep reading.
I know it might sound a little unusual to go from teaching to corporate—but let me tell you, it’s not.
You don’t HAVE to go into tech to break into corporate.
There are plenty of roles that are a perfect fit for teachers.
But here’s the catch…
It’s not always easy to make the switch.
In fact, getting into corporate is often harder than switching roles within an industry.
So what’s the key?
Your #1 focus should be finding a job that matches your experience and where you have the highest chance of getting selected.
Here are three corporate roles that align perfectly with your teaching experience:
1️⃣ Training Specialist → This isn’t much different from teaching! You’ll be preparing corporate training materials for employees.
2️⃣ Communications Specialist → You’ll handle internal company communications and lesson planning—mostly in written form.
3️⃣ Executive Assistant → Just like in the classroom, you’ll be organizing and managing chaos—except this time, it's for executives. (Let’s be real, the results might feel the same! 😅)
Now that you know which roles to apply for, here’s an important reminder:
👉 You don’t have to stay in this role forever. It’s a stepping stone into corporate.
Once you’re in, it becomes much easier to transition into the role you really want.
Got it? Great.
Now I want you to go apply for these roles—and let me know how it goes!
I’ll be waiting for your comment.
